Classic Car Services in Hertfordshire

We can start with a car as shown here and take the car through all the processes required to make the car into a vehicle that you would be proud to own and drive.

The first part of the paint process is to remove all the old paint and get the shell down to bare metal. All panels are checked for any small dents which are then filled with the minimum amount of filler.

The second part of the paint process is to apply etch primer. Hand flat this coat to get a smooth surface.

The third and probably the most important part of getting the best final finish is to apply a number of primer coats and hand flat between coats until the surface is perfectly smooth.

The last part of the painting process is to apply the final colour.  We entrust all our paintwork to "Gavin Pink at the Paint Shop".

You can follow all his work on Facebook.

Once the car returns from the paintshop the rebuild will start. The first job on this car was to fit a new roof lining.

The second job was to refit the interior with new black carpets that have red edging, and retrimming the front seats fitting new black leather covers with red piping.

All the external chrome and lights are refitted, the windows have been refitted using new rubbers. New door seals have been fitted. The mechanical items have been replaced or renewed as required.
